Did you remember to Vote today in Cedar Rapids?

Don't forget to Vote today in the City of Cedar Rapids runoff election.

Cedar Rapids City Council runoff election is today - The Gazette

This is just a reminder to vote today in Cedar Rapids in the runoff city council elections. The entire city has the choice of Don Karr and Aaron Saylor for an at-large position, while citizens in District 3 choose between Jerry McGrane and Pat Shey.

Robin B. Tucker, Resident of District 3 Cedar Rapids, Iowa USA

My parents are I.L. "Tommy" and LaVerne Tucker, who met at Coe College, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. My parents were married at the former Central Park church in Cedar Rapids. My parents celebrated their 60Th wedding anniverary in January of 2009. Also, I have a older sister and a brother.

I attended the Cedar Rapids Community Schools and am a graduate of George Washington Senior High School. I graduated from Creighton University, College of Business Administration, as an accounting major.

I am a 3rd generation resident of the City of Five Seasons. I am a married to my wife, Carole. We met at Creighton University, in Omaha, Nebraska. We have three children.

I worked previously in public accounting in Omaha, before I returned with my wife to my hometown to join my father and mother in business.

I am a strong fan of college football, including the Unversity of Iowa, among other programs. In college basketball, I follow my Creighton Jays and the Iowa Hawkeyes; among other programs in the The Valley, the Big Ten, and the Big 12 ...
