Senior Day at Kingston Stadium for Washington High School Football, Cheerleaders and Marching Band ...

Carole and I enjoyed Eileen's senior recognition for Marching Band at Kingston Stadium Friday night before the Washington vs. Waterloo East football game. Eileen was section leader for the clarinets her senior year. Seniors for marching band, cheer squads and football were recognized with their parents.
The game was 39-0 at the end of the first quarter, so we called it a night early, since it was cold and damp in the air. The Warriors went on to win 59-6.

The Indoor Marching Band Classic at the U.S. Cellular Center is Monday night. The special guest is the University of Iowa Marching Band. Join the fun with all the local high school bands closing out their 2009 season.
The Warrior football team is 7-2 and will open substate Class 4A playoffs at Kingston Stadium on Wednesday night.
