a community minded individual living in District 2 Cedar Rapids and District 2 Iowa. I have a strong interest in public policy. I served on the Local Home Rule Charter Commission in 2004-05. I am a proponent for Limited Spending, Limited Government, Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. I ran for District 2 Cedar Rapids in 2007. I want to see unity develop again in our community. Cedar Rapids is a community. Most wouldn't consider our community Rural, but to suggest it's Urban would be wrong. I had the pleasure of chairing in Linn County the volunteer effort for Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks for U.S. Congress. Robin B. Tucker, Resident of District 3 Cedar Rapids, Iowa USA

My parents are I.L. "Tommy" and LaVerne Tucker, who met at Coe College, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. My parents were married at the former Central Park church in Cedar Rapids. My parents celebrated their 60Th wedding anniverary in January of 2009. Also, I have a older sister and a brother.

I attended the Cedar Rapids Community Schools and am a graduate of George Washington Senior High School. I graduated from Creighton University, College of Business Administration, as an accounting major.

I am a 3rd generation resident of the City of Five Seasons. I am a married to my wife, Carole. We met at Creighton University, in Omaha, Nebraska. We have three children.

I worked previously in public accounting in Omaha, before I returned with my wife to my hometown to join my father and mother in business.

I am a strong fan of college football, including the Unversity of Iowa, among other programs. In college basketball, I follow my Creighton Jays and the Iowa Hawkeyes; among other programs in the The Valley, the Big Ten, and the Big 12 ...
