CR Small Business Recovery Group to meet with Secretary Donavan of Housing and Urban Development tonight at IBEW

First Anniversary Meeting Tuesday, June 9

This is another reminder of the importance of your attendance at Tuesday night's Cedar Rapids Small Business Recovery Group anniversary meeting at 7 PM at the IBEW Hall at 1211 Wiley Blvd SW. With Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Donovan (and rumor has it, another Secretary) coming on Wednesday, it is important to have as many people attend the meeting as possible. We must show them that we are a group united in the goal of saving as many of our businesses as possible in the next few years.

I don't think that it is an exaggeration to state that much of the money we have all received as grants and forgivable loans over the past year was a direct result of the hard work of the CR Small Business Recovery Group and the Chamber of Commerce. There is a LOT more money to come and our solidarity will help insure that we get our fair share of it.
